March Break in Milton is approaching fast! Many familes are getting ready to pack their bags to jet off somewhere warm and fun, but there are lots to do in and around the Milton area.  Here are a list of local event in our great Town of Milton!

1. All week long Tim Horton's is sponsoring a Free Swim at the Milton Leisure Centre from 2:00-3:30pm and Milton Sports Centre from 2:30-4:00pm.

2. Mountsberg’s sugar bush has been producing maple magic for almost 150 years and educating the public for more than 30 years. Approximately 600 trees are tapped during this most Canadian of seasons and the watery sap is be magically transformed into sweet maple syrup in the Sugar Shanty.

  • See how sap is magically transformed into sweet, sticky syrup and smell the fragrant steam rising from simmering kettles
  •  Learn the secrets of Maple Candy making and taste FREE candy samples
  •  Enjoy piping hot pancakes smothered in fresh maple syrup outdoors in our pavilion nestled in the woods
  • Climb, jump, and run in the Play Barn
  • See inspiring birds of prey demonstrations in the Raptor Centre at 11am, 12pm, 1pm, 2pm & 3pm
  • View bison, eagles, hawks and owls along the Wildlife Walkway

3. Mastermind Toys has a FREE make and take events every day starting at 11:00am. You must sign up in-store!

  • Monday: Big Creativity Can Crafting Day (Ages 4+)
  • Tuesday: Design Your Own Funky Pinboard Day (Ages 8+)
  • Wednesday: Mess-Free Glitter and Sand Day (Ages 5+)
  • Thursday: DIY Plush Craft Day (Ages 5+)
  • Friday: Crayola Dino Model Magic Day (Ages 3+)

4.  The Kids' Club at Milton Mall is free and open to children ages 4 to 12. Every day this March Break, we are having an adventure! Each day brings cool games to play, crafts to make and treats to try as we explore our provinces and territories. Visit each stop and create a memory bead clip-on souvenir. Plus, to celebrate Canada’s 150th, families are invited to play our Great Canadian Trivia Game.
